About Me

Hi, I’m Holly — homeschooling mom of three, history nerd, and the voice behind The Homeschool
Historian. I hold a BA and MA in History and completed doctoral coursework before life (and
homeschooling) pulled me in a different direction. I’m currently finishing an MA in Public History with a
concentration in Archives Management.
For the past six years, I’ve written history curriculum for homeschool families who want something academically solid but still approachable — no fluff, no agenda, just facts.

I live in Illinois with my husband, our three kids, two dogs, two cats. You’ll often find me driving them around through the cornfields with an iced coffee in hand.
