More about Tidings Curriculum:
This curriculum guide is expected to last four weeks and briefly covers pre-Christian Europe, the biblical account of the birth of Christ, the early church, the Middle Ages, the American colonial period, and 19th-20th Century America. The curriculum guide is Eurocentric and Western in its approach (not to dismiss Christmas celebrations around the world, but to uncover why modern America celebrates the way that it does today).
Disclaimer: Although not written from any particular theological view, Tidings does have Christian terms and content as it relates to the subject of Christmas. It also includes pagan, pre-Christian historical content. Both may be offensive to some readers.
